Comfort Inn Glenmont - Albany South

Pleasantly surprised. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great beds great shower and bathroom. Breakfast was nice with good choices.

Weekend stay. Clean, renovated room. Rooms currently being renovated, so might have work noise on weekdays. My room faced the highway, but I was not disturbed by the hwy noise. Small pool and hot tub, didn't use. Breakfast was okay, but the automatic coffee machines are both horrible - the coffee has no coffee odor or taste, but instead has a funky, feces-like odor. There are coffee brew machines and brew packs in the rooms. Plenty of parking, including 6 spots for tractor/trailer combos. I paid about $90/night, plus taxes , for a total of about $103/night, and if it had been more, I would have been irked. As it was, it was the best option for the price in the area. Be sure to ask for a renovated room.

Quiet, very clean. The only local hotel I bring my grandson and niece too.

Very good hotel - unfortunately 1 person made it a bad experience. Good hotel, we arrived at 4 am, as we had an unexpected hospital visit that delayed us and the receptionist offered us a late check out, which was very kind of him! Rooms are clean, breakfast is good, its well located, if you're tired of overpaying for the nearby hotels take this one, its as good. Clean rooms, sheets shower etc very good breakfast. Now the bad: an Indian in his late 60's knocked very aggressively on our door to kick us out, saying check.out is at 11 no exception. To which i replied we arrived at 4 am, and reception offered late check out of 12. He refused to believe me, and continued saying 11 check ou go to reception!! At some point raising his voice, to which i said I can call reception why do i need to walk (im the one that had a health scare, and definitely did not need any of this stress.) The moment I said I will call reception, he said ok stay till 12. Just too bad that 1 person put a shadow on an otherwise very good place. If we travel again, and need a night we will pick this place, but not looking forward for such a rude wake-up.

I will give 5 stars as the rooms were remodeled: the king suite was the reason I am giving 5/5! The room was awesome, bed was comfy, and the other room was so helpful for our toddler to run! The pool and hot tub was great (even though jets are broken)!

Great hotel : Great staff : CLEAN :COMFORTABLE: I stay weekly and my only problem is from the sept 29 visit my room fee of 50 dollars is still pending , I do think removal of the pending fee after my departure should be prompt . Again staff are beyond excellent and super helpful .

Just a few hundred yards from I 87, you’ll find exactly waht you need for a nice rest and comfortable stay at very reasonable rates. Rooms are somewhat modern business looking, the standard breakfast was abundant and even with a very late arrival I was greeted with a professional friendliness giving consideration to all that driving I did to get to them. Yes a « middle of the road business «  hotel that actually under promises and over delivers. When you care it shows guys, well done and thank you.
